Services & Requirements

  • Ø Registeration

    A signed and stamped Power of Attorney.

    Five prints of the mark.

    A list of the goods and/or the services (classes) covered by the application in French.

    A certified copy of the priority document, in case it is claimed.


    Ø Renewal

    A Power of Attorney, simply signed.

    The number, date of registration and the list of the goods of the trademark registration and the owner and its address


    Ø Assignment

    A Power of Attorney by the assignee, simply signed and stamped.

    A Deed of Assignment executed by the assignor and assignee together with its French or Arabic translation


    Ø Change of Name / Address / Legal Form

    Recordal of Change of Name
    1.A signéd and stamped Power of Attorney.
    2.A certificate proving the change of name or an extract from the Commercial Register translated into French or Arabic.
    Recordal of Change of Address
    A Power of Attorney showing the new address, simply signed and stamped.


    Ø Merger

    A Power of Attorney, simply signed and stamped.

    A certificate of merger with its French or Arabic translation.


    Ø License

    A Power of Attorney from the licensee, simply signed and stamped.

    A license agreement executed and sealed by both parties together with its French or Arabic translation.

  • Ø Registeration

    National Phase PCT Application:
    1. Power of Attorney simply signed and stamped.
    2. Specification, claims and abstract in English, Arabic or French
    3. Formal drawings, if applicable
    4. International Patent Classification
    5. Copy of Published International Application
    6. Copy of International Search Report
    7. Copy of International Preliminary Report on Patentability


    Patents of Invention (non-PCT):
    1. Power of Attorney simply signed and stamped.
    2. Specification, claims and abstract in English, Arabic or French
    3. Formal drawings, if applicable
    4. Assignment of Priority Rights
    5. Priority document (with verified translation into language in which the application was filed) (can be lately filed within three months)


    Validation of European patents:
    1. The text of the European patent or the required translation must be filed before the Tunisian Patent Office within a period of three months from the date of publication of the mention of grant of the European patent
    2. An official fee for registering the European patent must be paid within a period of three months from the date of publication of the mention of grant of the European patent in order for the European patent to be fully effective in Tunisia, with the same effect as for a National Tunisian patent


    Ø Assignment

    A Power of Attorney from the assignee, simply signed and stamped.

    A Deed of Assignment executed by the assignor and assignee together with its French or Arabic translation.


    Ø Change of Name

    A signed and stamped Power of Attorney.

    A certificate proving the change of name or an extract from the Commercial Register translated into French or Arabic.


    Ø Change of Address

    A Power of Attorney showing the new address, simply signed and stamped.


    Ø Merger

    A Power of Attorney, simply signed and stamped.

    A certificate of merger with its French or Arabic translation.


    Ø License

    A Power of Attorney from the licensee, simply signed and stamped.

    A license agreement executed and sealed by both parties together with its French or Arabic translation.








    1.           A simply signéd and stamped power of attorney.
    2.        Four representations (photocopies, photographs, or drawings) of the design;
    3.         Four ordinary copies of the inscription (if necessary)

     

  • If the applicant is a firm

    1. A signéd and stamped Power of Attorney by the applicant (the Copyright office could ask for a legalized copy when needed).
    2. A copy the passport
    3. A certified copy of the commercial register of the company (Original copy)
    4. A copy of the work (CD)
    5. A copy of the articles of association


    If the applicant is an individual

    1. A signed and stamped Power of Attorney by the applicant (the Copyright office could ask for a legalized copy when needed).
    2. A copy the applicant’s passport
    3. A copy of the work (CD)

    1. An application form.
    2. A Power of Attorney, simply signed and stamped.
    3. A copy of the Commercial Registration Certificate of the domain owner from home country of the applicant (If not in English, must be translated into English or French).
    4. A copy of the first page of the applicant’s passport
